Woman Hit, Killed on Hollywood Boulevard and Tropical Parkway in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 14, 2022) – A California woman was hit and killed in a pedestrian accident on Hollywood Boulevard and Tropical Parkway on October 20.
Las Vegas Metro Police were called to the scene after the crash around 6:19 p.m. near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, northeast of the valley.
According to reports, a southbound Nissin Versa was driving on Hollywood Boulevard when it struck a 47-year-old woman who was standing in the southbound lane. She was assisting a semi-truck to back out of a gravel access road when the accident happened, reports say.
Responders transported the woman to a hospital where she later died. Clark County Coroner’s office has yet to release the identity of the victim.
The 41-year-old driver did not flee the scene and waited for help to arrive. According to police, there are no signs of impairment.
