Paul Jordan Killed, Scott Bell and Julie Bell Injured in Crash on Highway 172 [Jackson County, TX]

Paul Jordan Identified in Fatal T-Bone Crash on Highway 172 in Jackson County

 
JACKSON COUNTY, TX (October 11, 2023) – Officials identified 67-year-old Paul Jordan of Missouri City who died in a crash on Highway 172 on October 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 35 around 11:17 PM. Based on a report, Jordan was driving a 2021 Nissan Versa northeast on the highway prior to the crash.
 
As he was preparing to turn south onto Highway 172, he turned in front of a 2020 Hyundai SUV that was traveling southwest on Highway 35. The front of the Hyundai T-boned the Nissan.
 
As a result, Jordan sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The occupants of the Hyundai, 60-year-old Scott Bell and 53-year-old Julie Bell had non-life-threatening injuries. Crews took them to Citizen’s Hospital.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
