Patricia Shaw Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 236 in Coryell County
CORYELL COUNTY, TX (August 23, 2023) – Officers identified 66-year-old Patricia Fischer Shaw who died in a crash on Highway 236 on August 9.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near the Coryell/Bell County line around 2:20 PM. Based on a report, Shaw was a passenger in a Dodge Ram truck traveling northbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
At the same time, a Ford F-350 hauling a trailer was traveling westbound. The driver of the Ram truck, a 65-year-old man from Temple, TX, failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and struck the Ford F-350.
As a result, Shaw suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
