Fatal Rollover Truck Crash on 15 Freeway in Vista

 
VISTA, CA (March 27, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a 24-year-old man died in a rollover crash on 15 Freeway on March 22.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Gopher Canyon Road shortly after 5:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a 48-year-old man was driving a grey GMC Sierra pickup southbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he veered from his lane and went off the road. Subsequently, the truck crashed and rolled over.
 
As a result, the male passenger from Moreno Valley died at the scene.
 
The driver of the GMC did not report any injuries.
