Woman Killed in Solo-Vehicle Accident on 25 Freeway near 225 Freeway

 
DENVER, CO (July 13, 2023) — A woman sustained fatal injuries in a single-car crash on 25 Freeway on Thursday, June 29.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, the accident happened just before 3:26 a.m. near the intersection of 25 Freeway and 225 Freeway.
 
DPD said in a Tweet that the woman who died was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed. However, her identity was not yet available pending notification of loved ones.
 
There are no reports of whether speed or intoxication played a factor in the crash.
 
Police said they closed the ramps from southbound and northbound 25 Freeway to 225 Freeway during the investigation. However, they reopened the ramps at 8:00 a.m.
