One-Year-Old Boy Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Beverly Park Road in Lynnwood

 
LYNNWOOD, WA (June 12, 2024) – Officials confirmed that a one-year-old boy died in a pedestrian accident in the 13900 block of Beverly Park Road on May 30.
 
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened at approximately 7:00 PM. Based on a report, the boy was playing in the front yard with his two older siblings and their parents before the accident.
 
Shortly after, a roommate, a 45-year-old man, arrived and pulled into the driveway. Due to unknown reasons, he struck the child.
 
As a result, the boy suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officers took a blood sample from the man to determine if there was any impairment. They then took him into custody for investigation of vehicular homicide.
 
Snohomish County detectives are still investigating the crash but believe drugs were a contributing factor.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
