SCOTTSDALE, AZ (January 13, 2025) — One person suffered injuries after a pedestrian accident on Hayden Road on Thursday, January 2.
 
According to the Scottsdale Police, the accident happened at about 9:00 a.m. at Hayden Road and Indian School Road.
 
Police said a vehicle struck a pedestrian. Paramedics arrived and then brought the victim to a local hospital with serious injuries.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene. As of writing, there are no reports of whether distracted or impaired driving contributed as a factor.
 
Authorities closed Hayden Road at Indian School Road as officers investigated to the scene. They reopened the area completely a little before noon.
