SACRAMENTO, CA (August 19, 2022) — A person died after being struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident on Marconi Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. on August 15.

According to Sacramento officials, the fatal collision took place in the 4100 block of Marconi Avenue, east of Watt Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol believes that the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
