PHOENIX, AZ (March 31, 2023) – Phoenix Police confirmed that one person suffered severe injuries in a bicycle accident on Cave Creek Road on March 27.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Beardsley Road around 12:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the victim and left the scene.
 
As a result, the cyclist was left with serious injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
Police did not yet locate nor identify the hit-and-run vehicle and its driver.
