EL PASO, TX (March 31, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on March 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the Schuster Avenue exit around 8:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the lanes. Police responded but did not yet release the circumstances that led to the crash.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene. Officials said the man was Hispanic but did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Special Traffic Investigations Unit responded to assist in the investigation.
