COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 25, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in an accident on Middle Creek Parkway on June 3.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at 4th Street at approximately 11:00 PM. Based on a report, a Tesla Model X hit a parked Chevrolet Silverado.
 
The force pushed the Chevy about 30 feet from its location. The impact knocked an occupant in the Tesla unconscious.
Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Police said the driver of the Chevy remained on scene and cooperated with officers. They believed speed was a factor in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
