One Dead, Two Hurt after Two-Vehicle Crash on Bell Road

 
SURPRISE, AZ (February 21, 2025) — One person died following a two-vehicle crash on Bell Road on Tuesday, February 18.
 
According to the Surprise Police, the accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on Bell Road and Sunrise Boulevard, just east of Loop 303.
 
Surprise police and fire crews responded to the scene. They found an SUV and a pickup truck involved in the crash. Then they pronounced a passenger in one of the vehicles dead at the scene.
 
Emergency responders transported two other individuals to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
 
Following the crash, officials shut down eastbound Bell Road traffic at Sarival Avenue. At the same time, they diverted southbound Sunrise Boulevard traffic to westbound Bell Road.
 
It remains unclear whether impairment or speed contributed to the crash.
 
Investigators have not released details on what led to the collision.
 
The investigation is still underway.
