BUCKEYE, AZ (May 17, 2023) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a semi-truck crash on 10 Freeway on May 13.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Palo Verde Road around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, the truck and another vehicle crashed in the lanes.
 
As a result, officials said one person suffered grave injuries and died. The coroner’s office did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway as they worked to clear the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
