LAKE MONTEZUMA, AZ (October 31, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 17 on October 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near milepost 293 near McGuireville Road. Based on a report, a car collided with a semi-truck in the lanes.
 
Detectives did not yet release the details that led to the wreck.
 
As a result, troopers confirmed that one person sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending next of kin notification.
