Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Virginia Street in Reno

 
RENO, NV (March 21, 2023) – The Nevada State Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Virginia Street on March 13.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Damonte Ranch Parkway around 7:45 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was already on the road at the time of the crash.
 
At that point, a car traveling north struck the victim. Subsequently, at least five other cars also struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The drivers of the vehicles stopped and cooperated with the police.
