Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Summerlin Parkway in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 29, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Summerlin Parkway on March 16.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened near the Rampart Boulevard eastbound off-ramp around 12:17 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was walking eastbound on Summerlin Parkway in the travel lane at the time of the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 2012 Honda Civic hit the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The Clark County Coroner’s Office did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
