Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on St. Rose Parkway in Paradise
PARADISE, NV (January 10, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on St. Rose Parkway on January 3.
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Amigo Street around 5:40 PM. Based on a report, the female pedestrian was walking outside a marked crosswalk. There was a downpour of torrential rain before the accident. Due to unknown reasons, a Jeep came and struck the woman.
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
LVMPD said the driver involved in the crash did not show any signs of impairment.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
