ARVADA, CO (August 28, 2023) – Arvada Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident in the 6400 block of Sheridan Boulevard on August 12.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened near 64th Avenue and 65th Avenue. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in one of the lanes.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The vehicle remained on the scene.
 
Crews shut down Sheridan Boulevard in both directions to give way to a clearing operation.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
