CASAS ADOBES, AZ (September 4, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Oracle Road on August 15.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Orange Grove Road shortly after 5:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was crossing the northbound lanes on North Oracle Road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a pickup truck struck the victim. Police said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending notification of kin.
