COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (May 1, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Circle Drive on April 22.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Winnepeg Drive. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim in the lanes.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where the man later died.
 
The driver reportedly remained on scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation.
 
Police did not say what led up to the crash.
