One Killed, One Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Owens Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]

Vehicle Hits Two Pedestrians in Accident on Owens Avenue at B Street in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 10, 2023) – Las Vegas police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Owens Avenue on January 5.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at B Street around 3:37 PM. Based on a report, a 1998 Lexus GS300 was traveling east on Owens Avenue prior to the crash.
 
When it began rotating clockwise, it struck the right curb, entered the sidewalk, and struck two pedestrians.
 
As a result, both victims suffered injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported them to UMC Trauma, where one of the victims died. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The other victim suffered serious injuries.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
