TRAVIS COUNTY, TX (February 28, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a car crash on FM 973 on February 25.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Brita Olson shortly before 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. However, officers did not release the details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, an adult in one of the vehicles died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
STAR Flight transported one person to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries. In addition, Pflugerville EMS took a third patient to St. David’s Round Rock with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, officials continue to investigate the crash.
