PHOENIX, AZ (July 31, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that one person died in a crash on 12th Street on July 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Butler Drive around 4:46 AM. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
According to police, two men suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital, where one later died. Officials did not release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Police closed 12th Street at Butler Drive while they worked at the scene.
