Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injury in Las Vegas Accident on Buffalo Drive

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 31, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Buffalo Drive on July 14.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Alta Drive around 7:57 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle north on Buffalo Drive before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 1998 Ford Expedition was turning left onto the same road. Police determined that the Ford’s driver failed to yield on a flashing yellow left-turn light and to the motorcycle’s right-of-way, causing a crash.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took him to UMC Trauma for treatment.
 
The Ford’s driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
