Fatal Car Crash on 30 Freeway in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (February 8, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a car crash on westbound 30 Freeway on February 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Chalk Hill Road at approximately 3:00 AM. Based on a report, three vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they had to close several lanes along the freeway because of the pile-up.
 
As a result, the driver of one of the vehicles died in the crash. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported another driver to a local hospital, while the third driver stayed at the scene and was not seriously hurt.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
