Child Dies in Austin Pedestrian Accident on North Meadows Drive

 
AUSTIN, TX (February 8, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a child died in a pedestrian accident in the 900 block of North Meadows Drive on February 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 4:30 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the victim and an adult pedestrian in the lanes.
 
As of now, officials have not yet released details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, Austin-Travis County EMS pronounced the child dead at the scene.
 
A second victim, an adult, suffered serious injuries. They transported the victim to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
