FREDERICKSBURG, TX (April 9, 2024) – Police confirmed that one person died in a multi-car crash on Highway 290 on March 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Old San Antonio Road around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, an Amazon delivery van collided with two other vehicles at the intersection.
 
As a result, one person sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Fredericksburg Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported multiple patients to hospitals for various injuries.
