Rider Dead in Motorcycle Accident on North Green Valley Parkway and East Sunset Road

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 21, 2024) — A rider died in a motorcycle crash on North Green Valley Parkway on Thursday, February 8.
 
According to the Henderson police, the incident took place on North Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road at about 3:00 p.m.
 
Police said Friday that a motorcycle moved east on East Sunset Road. Then a gold Toyota sedan moving west failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic. After that, the sedan turned directly into the path of the motorcycle.
 
According to the police, paramedics rushed the 54-year-old motorcyclist to a local hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries and medical officers pronounced him dead.
 
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased pending next of kin notifications.
 
Police said they do not consider speed and impairment as factors at this time.
 
The crash is the sixth accident-related death for Henderson in 2024.
