Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on West Ann Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 22, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on West Ann Road on October 5.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Old Grove Way around 9:32 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a 2016 Victory Vegas motorcycle east on West Ann Road before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2018 Kia Forte was traveling west on the same road. Due to unknown reasons, the Kia made a left turn in the travel path of the motorcycle and caused a head-on collision. The impact ejected the rider from the bike.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Paramedics transported the Kia driver to the UMC for minor injuries. Police add that the driver did not show any signs of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
