COMMERCE CITY, CO (October 22, 2024) — A teen died following a hit-and-run on Holly Street on Sunday, October 6.
 
According to the Commerce City Police Department, the incident occurred on Holly Street at East 58th Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.
 
Police said an Audi sedan crashed into a family of four driving on Holly Street. Then the driver and passengers of the Audi immediately left. They jumped into a nearby vehicle that drove away.
 
A teenager in the victim’s vehicle died. Meanwhile, the parents and another teen in the same vehicle sustained injuries.
 
Officers said the Audi did not have the right-of-way. In addition, they said they contacted the owner of the Audi. As of writing, they still determining who was responsible for the incident.
