Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 2 in Snohomish County

 
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA (March 27, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 2 on March 17.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Home Acres Road shortly after 10:00 PM. Based on a report, the 32-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he merged into the center lane and hit a car. The force ejected the rider from the bike, causing another car to hit him in the right lane.
 
As a result, the rider suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The drivers of the cars were not hurt.
