Fatal Bus-Motorcycle Accident on Claremont Street in Litchfield Park

 
LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ (September 12, 2024) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Claremont Street on August 31.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Litchfield Road around 3:15 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle near the intersection before the crash.
 
Witnesses told police the victim tried to avoid a crash with another vehicle and crashed into a moving bus.
As a result, the motorcyclist sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release his name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The bus did not have any students on it.
 
Courtney French, who identified herself as the victim’s daughter, created a GoFundMe for her father.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
