Suspected DUI Driver Keith Satyananda Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura County

 
VENTURA COUNTY, CA (December 27, 2022) – Officers arrested 46-year-old Keith Satyananda after a fatal pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway on December 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Mugu Rock around 10:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, Satyananda struck two people and fled the scene. Responding CHP officers found a man and a woman on the shoulder of the road.
 
As a result, the female pedestrian died at the scene. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
The other pedestrian, a 30-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital fir treatment.
 
Officers spotted Satyananda on Rice Avenue and Wooley Road several miles away. They arrested and booked him on multiple offenses, including DUI and hit-and-run, authorities said.
