Austin Hornung, Robert Dissmore Identified in Fatal Corona Crash

 
CORONA, CA (December 27, 2022) – The Austin Police Department identified 25-year-old Austin Hornung and 22-year-old Robert Dissmore as the victims who died in a crash on East Ontario Avenue on December 17.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Mugu Rock around 10:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, Hornung was driving a 2017 Ford Mustang at an unknown speed prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he lost control and veered off of the four-lane corridor, crashing into a roadside tree.
 
As a result, Hornung and Dissmore, both of Corona, suffered major injuries. Paramedics transported them to Riverside Community Hospital, where they both died.
 
As of now, an investigation is ongoing. In addition, officers ask anyone with information to contact the police Traffic Bureau at 951-557-4995.
