Kaili Garrett Survives Fatal Car Crash in Mountain Ranch

 
MOUNTAIN RANCH, CA (December 16, 2022) – Police identified 31-year-old Kaili Garrett of Antioch as the victim who survived a fatal rollover car crash on Railroad Flat on December 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Sheep Ranch Road. Based on a report, Garrett was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala along Railroad Flat at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road and struck a fence. After that, it overturned and collided with a tree.
 
As a result, a passenger in the Chevy died in the incident. The San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office only identified the victim as a 43-year-old man from Mokelumne Hill.
 
Garrett suffered major injuries. Crews took him to Modesto Memorial Hospital for treatment.
 
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have contributed to the crash. At this point, the CHP continues to investigate the case.
