Passenger Clarissa Lewis Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash in Menifee
MENIFEE, CA (December 16, 2022) – Riverside County Fire Department paramedics confirmed that 16-year-old Clarissa Lewis died in a car crash on Old Newport Road on December 12.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Bristol Gate Lane around 6:20 PM. Based on a report, the victim was a passenger in a car traveling on Old Newport Road.
Due to unknown reasons, the driver lost control and the car crashed into a retaining wall.
As a result, Lewis died at the scene.
Paramedics said two people suffered serious injuries, while two had moderate and minor injuries. All were taken to a regional trauma center for treatment and were expected to survive.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
