Driver Ejected, Killed in San Diego County Car Crash in Cleveland National Park

 
SAN DEIGO COUNTY, CA (February 21, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a 20-year-old man died in a rollover crash at the Cleveland National Forest on February 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Pine Creek Road near Deer Park Road around 9:25 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving a Jeep when he failed to negotiate a curve. Subsequently, the vehicle rolled over, ejecting him onto the roadway.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
His four passengers suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
 
Officials do not yet know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
