Fatal Skateboard Accident on Arlington Avenue in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 21, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a 51-year-old man died in a skateboard accident on Arlington Avenue on February 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Jones Avenue around 8:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was riding a skateboard at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze struck him.
 
As a result, the man sustained severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The 72-year-old man from Alta Loma who was driving the Chevy stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
