One Killed, Four Injured in Rollover Crash on Highway 95 [Winnemucca, NV]

Single Vehicle Involved in Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 95 in Winnemucca

 
WINNEMUCCA, NV (January 12, 2023) – Police confirmed that a 25-year-old Caldwell man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 95 on December 29.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened about 50 miles north of Winnemucca.
 
Based on a report, the victim was a passenger in a Chevrolet pickup that was speeding on the highway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the Chevy went off a curve and overturned, ejecting a passenger into the roadway.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the pickup and three children suffered unknown injuries. Paramedics transported them to an area hospital for treatment.
 
Officers said that speed and weather conditions are factors in the crash.
