TEMPE, AZ (November 9, 2023) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a fiery crash on Loop 202 on November 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Scottsdale Road. Based on a report, a car collided with a pickup truck.
 
When crews responded, they found the burning car as well as a camper trailer being pulled by the pickup truck.
 
As a result, one person suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The collision also closed multiple lanes of the highway.
