One Killed, Three Injured in Tempe Car Accident on Country Club Way

 
TEMPE, AZ (March 14, 2023) – Tempe Police confirmed that one person died in a car accident on Country Club Way on March 12.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Southern Avenue shortly after 5:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, a car crashed and became fully engulfed in flames. In addition, officers said the car also knocked over power lines but they did not state how many lines were down at that time.
 
As a result, officials said one person suffered life-threatening injuries and died. They did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Two others had serious injuries and one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
 
An investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
