TEMPE, AZ (August 2, 2023) – The Tempe Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Elliot Road on July 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Kyrene Road around midnight. Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
The victim was in the middle of the road and was hit by a car headed south on Kyrene Road.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to the hospital for treatment.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
