YUMA, AZ (September 29, 2024) – The Yuma Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on 4th Avenue on September 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 19th Street around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, the rider was weaving through traffic during the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the motorcycle crashed in front of the KYMA Television station.
 
As a result, the victim suffered injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took the man to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
 
The crash caused traffic in the northbound lane for about 45 minutes.
 
Police suspected impairment as a factor and said the motorcycle rider was at fault.
