PHOENIX, AZ (May 29, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on 51st Avenue on May 16.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Buckeye Road around 4:45 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the man and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim was hurt in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Police are now looking for the driver responsible but they did not provide any vehicle or suspect information.
