Fire Engine Involved in Accident on East Boulder Street in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (April 29, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a fire engine accident on East Boulder Street on April 5.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at North Weber Street shortly after 11:00 AM. Based on a report, the CSFD fire engine was responding to a call with lights and sirens at the time of the crash.
 
It was heading north on North Weber Street when it collided with a sedan that was making a left turn onto Boulder Street.
 
As a result, one person in the car sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital with serious but non-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
