Bicyclist Struck and Injured in Accident on West Pyle Avenue at Arville Street in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 27, 2023) Las Vegas police confirmed that one person suffered critical injuries in a bicycle accident on West Pyle Avenue on July 18.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Arville Street around 3:50 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding an electric bicycle south on Arville Street prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a Toyota Tundra was traveling east on Pyle Avenue. Due to unknown reasons, the bicyclist failed to stop at the stop sign. The Toyota then hit the bicycle, throwing the victim onto the road.
 
As a result, the 22-year-old bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital’s Trauma Unit for treatment.
 
The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
