One Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (March 6, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Cache La Poudre Street on February 27.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at Prairie Road around 4:20 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle west on Cache La Poudre Street prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a car was traveling north on Prairie and stopped at a stop sign at Cache La Poudre Street. As the car entered the intersection, the motorcycle hit the side of the car, throwing the victim off the bike.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police did not state of speed or alcohol were factors in this crash. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
