Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma

 
TACOMA, WA (December 8, 2022) – The Tacoma Fire Department confirmed that one person died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Pacific Avenue on December 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near South 88th Street around 6:02 PM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim and left the scene afterward. Police did not have additional information regarding the incident.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the man who was in his 30s, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, the crash also closed a portion of the roadway for several hours.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
