STOCKTON, CA (May 16, 2023) — One person died and two others suffered injuries after a car accident on Thornton Road on Saturday, May 13.
 
According to the Stockton Police Department, they received reports of the incident at Thornton Road and A G Spanos Boulevard at around 4:27 p.m.
 
Emergency personnel transported three people to a hospital. Police said one of the injured patients later died.
 
The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Authorities have not released if impairment contributed as a factor in the incident.
 
Officers have not released details on what might have caused the fatal crash.
