One Killed after RTD Bus Crash on 49th Avenue in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (October 3, 2023) — One person sustained fatal injuries in an RTD bus crash on 49th Avenue on Saturday, September 30.
 
According to the Denver Police Department, at about 12:30 p.m. They said an RTD bus and another vehicle were part of the crash.
 
In their initial report, police stated that medics rushed three people to a hospital after the collision. One of them was in critical condition and the other two were with unknown injuries. They later reported the critically injured person died and the others had non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Officials said none of the injured victims were on the bus.
 
Denver Police said they closed Race Street from 48th Avenue to 49th Avenue. It has since reopened at about 2:30 p.m.
